Accumulated in electronic control units so intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit closed to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so data bus powertrain, missing message from control module level control or intake flap motor 2 (v275), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
15493 Possible Causes:
15493 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15493 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of ecu number 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
