This something to do with the intake camshaft timing accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit of electrical errors and wait then direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |

15492 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15492 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
