Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+ and throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation will delay your vw fault. |
15491 Possible Causes:
15491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15491 Code
- Inspect all the connections rough road / engine torque signal from abs; electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
