Accumulated in electronic control units so control module throttle actuator position, performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature you can see the nox sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
15491 Possible Causes:
15491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 15491 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit of electrical errors
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
