When you open data bus powertrain, missing message from adr control module retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground or barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
15485 Possible Causes:
15485 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 15485 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
