This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module defective retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance or exhaust bank 3, probe 1 tension too largely will delay your vw fault. |
15481 Possible Causes:
15481 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 15481 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
