15479 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit electrical malfunction or accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high is the final reason of the code. |
15479 Possible Causes:
15479 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 15479 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
