15471 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start wheel speed signal 4, range / performance or oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
15471 Possible Causes:
15471 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 15471 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
