15464 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine shift lock, open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor signal for back-up lights, short to ground and wait then linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
15464 Possible Causes:
15464 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15464 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
