15457 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so starter interlock, circuit short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, tension too largely and control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
15457 Possible Causes:
15457 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15457 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst, efficiency below threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
