The problem is about intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open you can see the valve for fuel bypass (n312), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
15444 Possible Causes:
15444 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 15444 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
