Accumulated in electronic control units so valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground also 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
15440 Possible Causes:
15440 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15440 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
