This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic pressure sensor 2 adaptation at limit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit and wait then ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
15440 Possible Causes:
15440 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 15440 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), adaptation not started
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
