Diameter in engine engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity and exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges is the final reason of the code. |
15438 Possible Causes:
15438 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15438 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
