The problem is about exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit or ignition coil 'c' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
15431 Possible Causes:
15431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 15431 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
