15408 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'f' primary control, short to plus and wait then fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
15408 Possible Causes:
15408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15408 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
