15406 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle position output, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor transmission faulty and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
15406 Possible Causes:
15406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 15406 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
