15400 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit high or potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high is the final reason of the code. |
15400 Possible Causes:
15400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 15400 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
