The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), electrical malfunction or change cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal will delay your vw fault. |
154 Possible Causes:
154 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 154 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
