Diagnosing engine bar with secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), range / performance or b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
15397 Possible Causes:
15397 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 15397 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
