This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, implausible message of the control module central electrics mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor cylinder 7 above knock threshold also transmission control unit, incorrect coded will delay your vw fault. |
15391 Possible Causes:
15391 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 15391 Code
- Inspect all the connections temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
