15373 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, missing message from acceleration request and fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
15373 Possible Causes:
15373 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 15373 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'l' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
