The problem is about intake air heater "a", system performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation and ignition coil 'l' primary control, short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
15364 Possible Causes:
15364 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15364 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 2 (v177), difficulty of movement / blocked
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
