15342 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake bank 1, system too rich at idle . On the other hand bank 1; system too lean at idle is the final reason of the code. |
15342 Possible Causes:
15342 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15342 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator shut-off, open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
