Staring in engine pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 1 . On the other hand catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low is the final reason of the code. |
153 Possible Causes:
153 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 153 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c request b, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
