153 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity . So for next cylinder 6 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
153 Possible Causes:
153 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 153 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
