Staring in engine vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor water in fuel sensor, circuit and vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
153 Possible Causes:
153 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 153 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
