15298 Description And Summary : |

When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reversing light, circuit short to b+ and data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module level control is the final reason of the code. |
15298 Possible Causes:
15298 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15298 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
