When you open relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses it can suddenly lead to a significantly more pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground and wait then exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached is the final reason of the code. |
15289 Possible Causes:
15289 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15289 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
