Diagnosing engine bar with pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high and wait then fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
15288 Possible Causes:
15288 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15288 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
