Staring in engine turbocharger control module 2, missing message run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+ or diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation will delay your vw fault. |
15278 Possible Causes:
15278 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 15278 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
