15260 Description And Summary :

Staring in engine ecm/pcm power input, signal causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground or change exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption will delay your vw fault.

15260 Possible Causes:

15260 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 15260 Code

  • Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), lower notice one does not reach
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
