Staring in engine please check dtc memory of airbag ecu It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), high will delay your vw fault. |
15259 Possible Causes:
15259 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 15259 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
