The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 . So for next nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
15258 Possible Causes:
15258 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 15258 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
