The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground and fuel pump 2 circuit, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
15247 Possible Causes:
15247 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15247 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 internal resistance too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
