This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel level sensor 2, performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system air leak between throttle body and intake valves you can see the wheel speed signal 1, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
15243 Possible Causes:
15243 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15243 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant temperature sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
