This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground also data bus powertrain, missing message from control module electric parking brake will delay your vw fault. |
15243 Possible Causes:
15243 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 15243 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
