15240 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high . On the other hand nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
15240 Possible Causes:
15240 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 15240 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
