15228 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground . On the other hand please check dtc memory of engine ecu is the final reason of the code. |
15228 Possible Causes:
15228 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15228 Code
- Inspect all the connections givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
