The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cylinder 7 above knock threshold to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich and malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
15224 Possible Causes:
15224 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15224 Code
- Inspect all the connections charging system, voltage low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
