15218 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit or change power supply (b+) terminal 15, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
15218 Possible Causes:
15218 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 15218 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
