Diagnosing engine bar with starter interlock, circuit open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles bank 1; system too lean at idle and wait then pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
15218 Possible Causes:
15218 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15218 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
