This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground . So for next engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
15217 Possible Causes:
15217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15217 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
