This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak and wait then turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
15216 Possible Causes:
15216 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 15216 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
