15189 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance or change nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
15189 Possible Causes:
15189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 15189 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, upper stop not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
