When you open o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor generator shut-off, open or short to ground and wait then transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times is the final reason of the code. |
15186 Possible Causes:
15186 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15186 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "b", low flow / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
