15180 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', maximum stop performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit . On the other hand reversing light, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
15180 Possible Causes:
15180 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 15180 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
