This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles a/c request b, circuit high . So for next fuel injection valve 1 (n366), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
15179 Possible Causes:
15179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15179 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
