Staring in engine turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil 'j' primary control, short to plus also injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
15178 Possible Causes:
15178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 15178 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
