Staring in engine coolant pump control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor actuator supply voltage "b", circuit high or direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
15178 Possible Causes:
15178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 15178 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
