15173 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel pump 2 circuit, electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system clutch slip control, signal too high or change oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
15173 Possible Causes:
15173 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15173 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
