Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck on also o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
15165 Possible Causes:
15165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15165 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
