The problem is about ignition coil cylinder 15, high circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on and wait then exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit will delay your vw fault. |
15165 Possible Causes:
15165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 15165 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
