The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault coolant pump control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low . So for next exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |

15164 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit

- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message of the control module central electrics
