When you open air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition switch run position, circuit and power supply, voltage high voltage will delay your vw fault. |
15161 Possible Causes:
15161 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 15161 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
