This code were stamped on VW Engine case diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit or change secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
15161 Possible Causes:
15161 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

What To Check After Fixing 15161 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
