15158 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor transmission control unit (j217), programming error also glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
15158 Possible Causes:
15158 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15158 Code
- Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
