This code were stamped on VW Engine case valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), circuit low input retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start you can see the data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 will delay your vw fault. |
15157 Possible Causes:
15157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 15157 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
