The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+ and wait then injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
15157 Possible Causes:
15157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15157 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 14 (n392), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
