The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to high you can see the combustion detection during deceleration is the final reason of the code. |
15153 Possible Causes:
15153 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15153 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
